At this time it is still possible to purchase single DLC via BioWare Points, but not possible to purchase single DLC otherwise.ģ - Install the DLC that you want from (yes, that is EA's site, and it is legit).Ĥ - Since all the DLC are now registered to your account, the DLC will verify and you can play them on Steam. Note to old-timers: this is new, EA added this pack (and a similar one for Mass Effect 3) to the Origin store over the holidays. You can register your game keys at myaccount.ea.com under My Account > Redeem Product Code.ġ - Log in to the Origin Store with your Cerberus account credentials (it's your EA account login, they're the same).Ģ - Purchase the DLC pack [(it contains all DLC for Mass Effect 2). I recommend registering your keys with EA before doing this. If you know how to do it, please let me know. Basically I just want to get the DLC I want, with as little hassle as possible. You can still buy "bioware points," but not the individual DLCs.Īll of the EA support and steam forums I could find are a bit out of date and tell me to go to the Bioware Social Network. I look on origin to see if you can just buy the DLC there, but you can only buy a bundle of all the DLCs. I load into my save file of the game and nothing happens. I log into MY CN key and nothing happens. I get them installed and open ME2 through steam, and I get a message saying that I need to log into a Cerberus Network account that is authorised with those DLCs. I downloaded the DLCs "Genesis" and "Lair of the Shadow Broker" to see if it works. It is an offiicial EA webiste so I go ahead and try it.

This gives me download links for all of the DLC's, but doesn't request me to pay anything so I'm a bit suspicious. Well, its 2018, and the Bioware social network doesnt exist anymore. I am told to go to the Bioware social network and register my cerberus key. I look thru forums and EA support to see how I can get the DLC on steam.
Hopefully someone can shed light on this situation.I know this has been asked a lot but I cant seem to find a solution that fixes my problem. If you try to problem solve by following the in-game prompt the Settings tab on the 360 menu for the emulator only shows Profile and Preferences, so it cannot be solved because it's a 360 title running on an XboxOne.Īt this point I am just frustrated. Lastly it was said that it could be a local cache issue, where you need to delete your local Xbox360 app data but that didn't solve the issue either. Another says that Microsoft lost the rights to sell the DLCs, which is odd because it doesn't tell me anywhere that this happened (not in the XboxOne store, nor in-game). One post talks about it possibly being a child account, but mine was never set to a child since I created it. I have no understanding why this error occurs and every post I have found has not resolved this issue. To change your privacy & online settings, go to Settings, Privacy."

When I go into the in-game menu to download the free DLCs (Normandy Crash site for example) a pop-up says "premium content is blocked for this profile. I download the cerberus network since some of the DLCs on the Xbox One store show up as non-purchasable. I downloaded Mass Effect 2 through EA access on Xbox One.
